![]() Application Support Flexibility In addition to working with Adobe After Effects, Color Finesse also works with other applications, including Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Discreet Combustion, Boris Red, and Pinnacle Commotion. Choose the tool you prefer, but get the advanced color correction available from Color Finesse. Color correction is important, but no one has all day to wait for it. That's why Color Finesse is optimized for use on multi-processor systems, and takes full advantage of the PowerPC AltiVec (Velocity Engine) instructions on Macintosh G4 and G5 systems, and the SSE/SSE2 instructions on Intel Pentium 4 systems. Even though Color Finesse is dealing with 32-bit floating-point color channels, it outperforms many 8-bit integer software color correction tools. In order to achieve this performance, Color Finesse requires a PowerPC G4 or G5 based Macintosh, or an Intel Pentium III or later Windows system. While making your color corrections, Color Finesse previews your results with options for split-screen wipes to easily compare before-and-after images. The split can be done at any angle to make it easy to compare the part of the image that matters to you. A reference gallery of images make it easy to compare frames from different scenes to accomplish color matching. Previews can be directed to a second computer monitor for full size previews. When combined with our Echo Fire realtime video previewing software on the Macintosh, Color Finesse will show video previews on your NTSC/PAL monitor via a FireWire or other video output device, including AJA Kona, Blackmagic Design, Media 100, and CineWave cards. Color Finesse also provides the monitoring tools you would expect to find in a telecine suite, including waveform monitor, vectorscope, histograms, and correction curve displays. Displays are available individually or in a convenient combination display. Color Finesse 1.1 is currently shipping for both the Macintosh and Windows platforms, and can be ordered directly from Synthetic Aperture, or through one of our resellers.
Of course, we're also happy to accept electronic, email, telephone, or fax orders for physical delivery of Color Finesse on CD-ROM. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover/Novus, and American Express. Purchase orders are accepted only from accredited educational institutions.
Free Demo - Try Before You Buy Download a copy of Color Finesse and try it on your system. The demonstration version is fully functional, but places red lines across the rendered output frames. Once you decide to purchase Color Finesse, use our secure on-line ordering system to purchase a serial number which will fully enable the software you've downloaded. Order for web delivery and your serial number will automatically be emailed to you.
Color Finesse requires a minimum display size of 1024 x 768. Macintosh systems require a G4 or G5 processor. Windows systems require an Intel Pentium III or later processor. Important Final Cut Pro 4.0 Note: FCP 4.0 has issues with After Effects plug-ins such as Color Finesse that were not present in FCP 3.0. Please see our support pages for workarounds while we all await an update to FCP 4.0.
