QuickTime VR is the first truly new interactive technology to come along in a long time. While QuickTime brought video to your computer screen, it was still video, just like we've had for the last 50 years, only on a different screen.

QuickTime VR brings a new, genuinely interactive technology to your computer. Without the use of specialized hardware, QuickTime VR provides a truly immersive experience where you can look up, down, and all around within a 360 degree space.

Individual "nodes" can be linked together to allow you to move within a large environment. QuickTime VR Object Movies allow you to "pick up" and manipulate objects, further increasing the level of interactivity.

And QuickTime VR gives you the choice of photographing "real world" scenes and objects, or creating them using 3D computer generated imagery.
