Platforms/Versions

This article applies to both Macintosh and Windows systems and version 2.1.x of Echo Fire.

Problem

When using the Echo Fire preview action in Photoshop CS and CS2, instead of seeing the preview of your image on your broadcast monitor, you see the message "The Command Export is not currently available."

When Adobe came out with Photoshop CS, an internal change within Photoshop caused the preview action we supply with Echo Fire to no longer work. This change also carried over to Photoshop CS2.

Solution

You can simply record a new action which does a File:Export:Echo Fire command and assign a function key to it.

Or, you can download updated action files for Photoshop CS and CS2 by clicking one of the following links:

Load the action into Photoshop to replace the current one.
