When attempting to invoke the Color Finesse UI, you may see the message "Current time indicator must be within the clip Color Finesse is being applied to" even though the current time indicator is within the clip.
In Adobe After Effects® In most cases moving the current time indicator within the clip will resolve the problem and allow the Color Finesse UI to be invoked without the error message. In some cases, such as when Color Finesse has been applied to a solid, you will need to purge After Effects' cache to eliminate the problem. You can do this by choosing Purge:Image Caches from After Effects' Edit menu. In Discreet® Combustion® In most cases moving the current time indicator within the clip will resolve the problem and allow the Color Finesse UI to be invoked without the error message.
If the message persists, double-check that Color Finesse has been applied to a clip. Color Finesse requires that a clip be selected when it is applied.
