SolutionHere are several steps you can follow to correct this problem so that Color Finesse can finish the installation:
Manually Repairing Folder PermissionsHere are the files and paths that Color Finesse installs for the system, AE, and FCP installations. If they are already present on your system, then that part of the installation went OK. If they are missing, check the permissions on the folder they are being installed into to make sure that you have write permissions to the folder. If not, change the permissions to allow you to write to that folder and re-run the Color Finesse installer. /Applications/Color Finesse(tm)/ To change permissions on a folder, select the folder in the Finder and do a Get Info (command + I). Twirl down Ownership and Permissions. If it says "You can Read & Write" then you are OK. If not, twirl down Details. Click on the lock and enter your admin password if requested. Change the Owner to your login ID. Change the Group to "admin" and Access to "Read & Write." Change the Owner back. Related Documents |
